2023 goals

As promised here are my goals for 2023! I'm mainly sharing them here to keep myself accountable to trying to achieve them as well as a written record to look back on in 365 days time to see if I did complete these goals or if the year took me towards new goals and ideas!

• Sign with an agent

I really feel that I'd benefit from working with an agent to progress my script/screen writing career. I'm so proud of where I've got to and the opportunities that I've found for myself but I'm really struggling to get any further so I think it's time to look at representation to really push me on! If any of you reading have any tips or recommendations please do let me know...

• Make a short film

I started writing short films last year and I'd really love to see one made. While I wouldn't be looking to direct it (really not my bag) I'd love to be involved in making one in some way! Again any of you have any tips or are looking for scripts let me know!

• Travel more

Not a work focused goal but I really want to get out and explore the world more in 2023. I love travelling and since the pandemic haven't done as much of it as I'd like so this I've decided is going to be the year! I also really wanted to include this as I realise that online I talk about work almost exclusively but it is by no means the biggest part of my life. I love what I do and I'm really lucky to be able to call my passion my profession which is why I write and share about it but there is so much more to life than work like travel and family, relationships, friends and everything else that makes you happy so please don't forget that too!
